They have been making toys and games since 1883. Their more well-known products include, Monopoly, Clue, Ouija, Trivial Pursuit, Risk and
Aggravation.
The company was founded by George S. Parker. Most gmaes at that time were heavy on morals and values, but Parker thought games should be played for enjoyment.
In 1906, Parker Brothers published the game Rook, their most successful card game to this day and it quickly became the best-selling game in the country.
Later, during the Great Depression, Parker Brothers put out a new board game called Monopoly. And the rest, as they say, is history!
