Milton Bradley

Established by Milton Bradley, this American game company started out in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1860.
It became even bigger when it acquire the McLoughlin Brothers company, which used to be the largest game manufacturer in the United States.
The compnay enlarged yet again when it bought the makers of Scrabble and Parcheese, the Selchow and Righter company.
Now Milton Bradley has been absorbed by Hasbro, Inc. having been wholly owned by Hasbro since 1984. It is one of Hasbro's brands, along with Parker Brothers.
Most of the time it makes board games, but has also done a few video games such as HeroQuest.
